Brandon seeks dedicated Residential Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree preferred
One-year in-house experience as a Child & Youth Care Worker II or two years experience in a supervisory position in a similar setting.

Persons with lived personal or family experience encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend and manage all residential meetings, conferences, treatment teams, and supervisors meetings.
Foster professional growth of designated staff through weekly supervision.
Effectively manage food costs, client/activity expenses, facility upkeep, program supplies, and weekly
overtime/staff deployment, within the limits of the site budget.
Manage scheduling and requested time-off, in a timely manner, to minimize the use of overtime.
Orient new staff and continue to train in-house staff.
Aid in the development of job descriptions by clearly defining responsibilities and expectations.
Evaluate staff on performance and identify and address the training needs of site staff.
Manage all behavioral aspects of the program to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Provide leadership, support and supervision to your team.
Communicate all concerns, issues and recognitionís to the Residential Director and staff in an efficient and timely manner.
Communicate effectively and accurately all program needs through the appropriate procedures.
Communicate and document all necessary client information clearly and concisely using the appropriate systems.
Implement individual treatment plans for clients assigned to your site by using clinical
and practical knowledge.
Comply at all times with federal, state and local regulations and licensing requirements.
Follow all established policies and procedures with outside agencies regarding runaways,
medical emergencies, physical interventions and all other critical incidents.
Follow all in-house policies and procedures and initiate new systems through the appropriateprocess.
Effectively participate in all department and program meetings.
Effectively problem solve conflicts and crisis situations.
Foster team-building skills by effectively managing conflict resolution.
Manage daily routines and schedules.
Represent the agency in a highly professional manner.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
