Brandon seeks and energetic and dedicated medical aide for a flexible afternoon/evening position. 30-40 hours per week. Primary responsibilities are to Transport clients to medical/dental appointments, give basic first aid, administer medications as prepared by the nurse and assist the nursing staff.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred, experience with children of similar population; medical background preferred with CPR and first aid training required.

1. Transport clients to medical/dental appointments as set up by the school nurse.
2. Administer medications as prepared by the school nurse.
3. Administer over-the-counter medications using medication risk sheet as a guide.
4. Attend to minor medical problems (cuts, bruises, etc.) and give basic first aid.
5. Document all medical procedures and information.
6. Transport students with medical emergencies to the hospital or school physician.
7. Perform any related tasks as directed.
