Click Here for our Online Proposal Specification Form Click Here for a Printable RFP form The Northeast Juvenile Firesetting Conference: Thursday & Friday, May 10-11, 2012 Hosted By: Brandon School & Residential Treatment Center MA Association of Safety and Fire Educators (MA SAFE) The Conference:The Northeast Juvenile Firesetting Conference strives to address topics relevant to our multi-disciplinary attendees and provides workshops that reflect current best practice in firesetting assessment and treatment. Based on last year's feedback, the 2012 theme focuses on the critical importance of providing, "from incident to outcome, " a range of services and interventions to families in order to strengthen their capacities to keep children safe. The conference will again bring together over 250 fire service, education, mental health, state agency/child protective service, burn care, law enforcement and juvenile justice professionals from the Northeast and across the U.S. Proposal Specifications:Speakers will present workshops in two hour sessions which are interactive, provide take-home strategies and best practice information, and are tied to the theme: Strengthening our Homes: From Incident to Outcome. The conference committee is especially interested in proposals on assessment, treatment, education, and intervention programs that are family-friendly, provide services in the home, and/or are designed to strengthen parent capacities to provide a fire-safe environment.
